Helena Florindo, Rita Acúrcio, Rita Guedes from the Medicament Research Institute (iMed.ULisboa) of the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon, were recently nominated by Activa Magazine for the Inspiring Women award in the Science category. The research work of this team, which also includes Ronit Satchi Fainaro – Tel Avi University – led to the distinction and nomination of these 3 researchers, who developed a molecule that models the evasion of tumors to the immune response. This work was published in the Journal for Immuno Therapy of Cancer, 2022.
