Vera Ferreira has graduated in Biochemistry in 2011 followed by a Master in Biochemistry in 2013 from the University of Lisbon (UL). In 2020, she completed her PhD in Biotechnology and Biosciences at Instituto Superior Técnico (UL). Her doctoral studies focused on the development of novel molecular imaging tools for the study of the human disease cystic fibrosis. Vera Ferreira is the first author of 3 publications in international peer-reviewed journals, and the co-author of 5 publications, resulting from her participation in several scientific projects and collaboration with national and international research groups. Vera Ferreira is currently a post-doc fellow at iMed, involved in the evaluation of the immunologic and virologic response of COVID-19 patients and vaccinated individuals.
