. Advisor of the Secretary of State of Health Promotion at the Ministry of Health, Portugal. Previously he worked at the National STI/HIV Programa at the General Directorate of Health (2022), as Advisor for LGBTI, Addictions and HIV at Lisbon City Council, as Director of IN-Mouraria/GAT, harm reduction centre for people who use drugs (2012-2017), Peer counsellor with men who have sex with men Checkpoint Lisbon/GAT (2011-2013) and Checkpoint Barcelona (2009-2010) and social worker at Drug Consumption Room SAPS/Red Cross Barcelona (2006-2009). His main interests are public policies, health interventions and harm reduction in relation with the use of drugs and alcohol, HIV, HCV, migration, prisons, sex work and LGBTQI+ communities.
