Paula Matos de Brito, holds a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a PhD in Pharmacy, in the specialty of Biochemistry, by the University of Coimbra. She develops her research in the unit “Molecular Microbiology and Biotechnology” from iMed.ULisboa at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon. With a high background of redox biology and more than 10 years of experience in gene therapy, she is currently interested in the development of cellular therapies, namely CAR-T cells therapy, to fight cancer.
