Maïssa Dardouri is a postdoc at FARM-ID Faculty of Farmacy, University of Lisbon and an integrated member of Instituto de Investigação do Medicamento, iMed. Received her PhD in 2018 in Applied Chemistry at the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (INSAT), University of Carthage, Tunisia, in the field of designing magnetic scaffolds for bone tissue engineering. Now as a postdoc fellow, under the supervision of the PI Isabel Ribeiro, she is working on the project “Antibiofilm features of glycolipids functionalized Silicone Catheters towards Healthcare-associated infections prevention” (PTDC/BTM-SAL/29335/2017). Her main research interests lay out on the synthesis and design of bio-active molecules and nanoparticulate systems for therapeutics and biomedical applications.
