Short bio & current area(s) of interest
Ana Matos (AM) obtained a MSc degree in the area of polymeric materials in 1993 and started her professional career as a lecturer at Universidade Católica and then at Universidade Lusófona. In 2015 she obtained her PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology and focused her research on drug delivery systems. Currently she works in a Portuguese pharmaceutical company where the main research interests include new drug carriers for topical (cutaneous and ophthalmic) drug delivery.
