Raquel Teixeira is a Pharmacist with a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology and a team member of the iMed research group. Her PhD research focused on the development of new drug carriers for topical drug delivery. In 2016 RT started her professional activity as Product Development Manager at a Portuguese pharmaceutical company, Laboratórios Atral. As her career progresses, she has been strengthening her knowledge in several areas, such as regulation, production, quality control, quality assurance, contract manufacturing, development, and characterization of new medicines. In 2019 she did a postgraduate in Business Development and Pharmaceutical Marketing, and she is now Director of Innovation and Business Development departments at Laboratórios Atral.
