Luísa Mateus research interests focus on the application of Analytical Toxicology, mainly in the field of occupational and food toxicology, to evaluate the exposure to xenobiotics and to study biomarkers of exposure and effect. Head of Instrumental laboratory (Faculty of Pharmacy) since 2009, is actively involved in providing services to several private companies. The analyses carried out are request from different areas, with greater prevalence of the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry.
