iMed.ULisboa researcher received the “CRS Immuno Delivery Young Investigator Award 2020”
Helena Florindo, group leader of the Drug Delivery & Immunoengineering Lab at iMed.ULisboa received the “CRS Immuno Delivery Young Investigator Award 2020”, by the Focus Group on Immunology of the international Controlled Release Society (CRS), following her contributions in the drug delivery field.
This distinction recognizes the researcher’s work focused on the development of novel nanotechnology-based vaccines for cancer treatment. Helena Florindo will present the major findings of her team on the impact of these new nanovaccines on the regulation of immune function against cancer, on June 30th 2020, at the annual (online) meeting of this society.
