Florindo research is focused on design of anticancer organometallic bioconjugates, especially on glycoconjugation as route for selective delivery of metallic cytotoxic payloads in Warburg tumor phenotypes, with important results in the area. With interest also in catalysis and nonlinear optical materials, since joining Moreira’s group his research spanned also to development of serine-protease activity-based probes for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease early detection.
