Pathogen genomics and phylogenetics to understand host-pathogen interactions, epidemiology, virulence, disease and evolution. Comparative genome analysis and population structure of Helicobacter pylori. Exploiting H. pylori phage genomics, providing insights into phage diversity, evolution and biomedical applications. Innovative therapeutic solutions for multidrug resistant Gram-negative infections. Development of new biopharmaceutical antibacterials from phage gene products.
