Science & Society

A fundamental facet of iMed.ULisboa activities is to promote dialogue with the public on science and medicines in general. We often engage with non-specialist audiences, including public events, school visits, appearances in the media and communicating research to health professionals, patient groups and policy-makers.

We use a wide-range of communication channels to outreach the public, such as exhibitions, media and the website, regularly tested and reviewed. We recognize our responsibility to inform the public, policy-makers and partners about our work, and have developed effective relationships with a range of audiences.

iMed.ULisboa strongly encourages knowledge transfer.
