iMed.ULisboa investigator distinguished with ESCMID Research Grant

The scientific project Decoding the peptidoglycan patterns associated with b-lactams hypersusceptibility in drug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis developed by Maria João Catalão from the Host-Pathogen Interactions [link] group at iMed.ULisboa was awarded with a research grant by the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID). The project will investigate strategies to treat multi- and extensive-resistant tuberculosis.
