Hélio Faustino is a postdoc at the Gois lab and he is currently working in the “Design of iminoboronate based antitumor targeting conjugates”, developing generic synthetic methods to modified peptides and proteins. In this context recently the group disclosed a method for selective, rapid and reversible N-terminal cysteine functionalisation. Previous works include metal catalysis, in particular Gold catalyzed cycloadditions.
