Carlos M. Monteiro, was born in Setúbal (Portugal) in 1983. Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Researcher. His interests include green chemistry and new methodologies for renewable resources valorisation into new materials, namely the enzymatic polymerization of HMF derivatives, biocatalysis; bioorthogonal chemistry and natural products.
