Research Interests

Rosa is a postdoctoral researcher with a strong background in neuroscience. Her focus is on evaluating the potential of tauroursodeoxycholic acid both as a neuroprotective drug and as a symptomatic treating agent in the 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine mouse model of Parkinson’s disease by analyzing motor coordination in these animals. Rosa also focuses on unraveling the putative underlying mechanisms.
